Sandy Lam Beady Eyes

Sandy Lam rose to fame in Hong Kong in the mid 80s with a string of up-tempo Japanese style songs. Lam gained instant popularity in Taiwan with her debut Mandarin release “愛上一個不回家的人” (Home Again Without You) in 1991.

In 1995, she teamed up with Jonathan Lee, known as Taiwan’s music godfather, and released her 4th Mandarin album Love, Sandy featuring a hit single “傷痕” (Scars), which became one of the all time best selling Chinese language albums. Since then Sandy has gradually moved beyond the Hong Kong music scene and spent most of her time in Taiwan, China, and Japan exploring new opportunities.

Lam returned to the music scene with a hit single “至少還有你” (At Least I’ve Got You) from her first album with Virgin in 2000. It was on the KTV Music Chart for 8 months. In December 2001 she released a Mandarin-language album entitled “Truly Sandy”, on which she co-wrote four songs.

Andy Lau  刘德华 is a Hong Kong Cantopop star, movie actor and producer. He has been one of Hong Kong’s most commercially successful film actors since the 1990s. He won the prestigious Golden Horse Award for his performance in Infernal Affairs 3, the sequel to the popular Infernal Affairs. Some may also be familiar with his performance in the House of Flying Daggers. Andy Lau along with Jacky Cheung, Aaron Kwok and Leon Lai also named as the Cantopop Four Heavenly Kings (四大天王)

He’s THE man not to be missed. Now I’m kinda regretting the purchase for my other tickets… it only gets better and I wished I had saved up for this instead. Man, one of the big 4s is actually coming to this small red dot, Singapore. I really want to have a glimpse him. I dun think he’s gonna come back anytime soon… At least another 2 years.

Lee Hom’s Music-Man World Tour would be coming to Singapore on 1st November 2008! Tickets for the Taipei concert sold out within 2 hours, and I am sure the concert here would be a sell-out as well! Love his songs like 永遠的第一天 and 唯一 from his earlier albums. Oohhh, Lee Hom sure knows how to work his charm!

I’m got my priority tickets with my OCBC Credit Card.  Hee. Only OCBC Credit Card holders get to buy first from 19th August to 2nd September, after which it will be released to the public.  The most expensive tickets would be $198, followed by $168, $138, $108, $78, $28.
